Le Chatelier’s Principle and Chemical Equilibrium
You MUST watch this video. For this lab, you will be following the scientist run multiple reactions. He goes step by step just like in your procedure. You will write observations for each step on a separate sheet of paper. Your observations should include what each reagent looked like before the reaction took place, what happens during the reaction, and what the solution looked like after the reaction took place (Note any: color change, precipitate formation, temperature change, etc). Based on your observations and the net ionic equation for equilibriums, you will then check off if equilibrium shifted to the left, right, or remained the same for each step.
