Setting File Associations
Overview
In this exercise, you will demonstrate how you can use file associations to control which application loads when you execute a file of a particular type.
Mindset
Windows 8 uses file types to associate data files with specific applications. File can also appear as file name extensions.

What program is currently associated with the .jpg file name extension?
Photos is the application currently associated with jpg files. It is the default program hence all jpg files open with it.
