The Tennis Court Oath was a great and also symbolic event of the French Revolution. It was both a dramatic act of defiance and a revolutionary act. People assembled in an open space raising their arms for the National Assembly. It was significant as it showed that political authority was with the people.
The storming of Bastille and the great fear it instilled is another crucial event. This was a prison in Paris that was attacked and destroyed by rebels belonging to the “third estate.” The third event was the rise of the Third Estate was another significant event. It represented the people who were mobilizing for support for equal representation.
