Student's Name Professor's Name Course Number Date Writing with Confidence Purpose Task The TED talk reviewed in this paper is How to Build Your Creative Confidence by David Kelly. The author has expressed how, with little steps, creative confidence can be built. It can be started by exploring the most afraid things and then taking small steps toward relieving the fear. In the personal career, the major fear is about facing and dealing with people because of having an introverted personality. There was a major weakness in dealing with social situations and fearing that others could wrongly judge. In completing the degree, the major fear was not being able to complete it or failing a course. However, this fear can be avoided in different ways. The fear of not being able to pass a semester or course starts from practising the concepts learned and addressing the whole syllabus. When everything in the course is addressed and practised, it automatically creates familiarity. It reduces uncertainty and exam anxiety, automatically leading to good marks in the concerned course. Regarding the fear of social situations, the best strategy is to face the people and up this game occasionally. In these regards, especially for the fear of social situations, there is a need to redesign the thoughts and perceptions. Creative confidence tells us that if an effort is made to overcome fear with small and gradual steps, it is possible to get out of it. Knowing this can change the game's rules, and the anxiety will be turned into an asset.
