A character refers to an individual or entity in a narrative. A character can be a human, animal, or even inanimate object with distinct personalities, traits, and roles within the story.
What are the two primary characters?
1 Protagonist – It is the central character or main character in the story. They are typically the ones whose actions and decisions drive the plot forward and with whom readers are meant to sympathize or connect.
2 Antagonist – It is the character or force that opposes or creates conflict for the protagonist. They can be a person, a group of people, nature, society, or an internal struggle within the protagonist.
