Where we start with hypothesis stating, calculation of test statistic, determination of acceptance and rejection region then lastly we will do our conclusion based on the results
Hypothesis stating Ho: µ=100 vs. Ha: µ >100
Where Ho is null hypothesis and Ha is alternative hypothesis and its worthy noting that our alternative is the researcher’s claim. It is worth noting that sample size n ≤ 30 in both cases we will use t-distribution tables.
Note that x is sample mean,µ is either population mean or given mean, n is sample size, t is test statistic, α is significance level, sqrt is square root and d.f is degrees of freedom
