Introduction
Applied Behavior Analysis refers to a type of therapy that focuses on improving such behaviors as communication, adaptive learning skills and other skills such as reading skills and how to socialize which are aimed at improving hygiene, grooming, domestic capabilities, punctuality as well as job competence. This kind of analysis is commonly practiced as a therapeutic intervention for those people who are commonly affected by Autism which helps them to improve in social interactions as well as learn new skills.
Descriptive assessment
Descriptive Assessment; refers to the type of assessment that enables us to determine why a given behavior occurs rather than how often a behavior occurs. It also enables us to understand under which condition do a certain behavior occurs. This type of assessment has both advantages as well as disadvantages.
