The Stetlar Model of EBP outlines five phases, preparation, validation, comparative decision-making, application or translation, and evaluation, followed in utilizing research in EBP change. The following is a mini-EBP practice change project for implementation in LirnCare hospital to relieve the burden of hypertension, which is the most prevalent condition recorded in the community.

Therefore, there is a need for EBP change in the healthcare setting to reduce the rates of hypertension and suppress the adverse consequences to population’s lives.
