Abstract
This paper aimed to explore the area of health laws and policies. The paper utilized a qualitative method of research. The paper identified that the mechanics of health law are well established but are continuously evolving. Many bodies are concerned with the process of development and implementation of health policies. Data was collected from secondary sources only. The sources used were both online databases and newspapers and articles published on related topics. Data analysis was conducted using methods accepted by updated data analysis methods in research. The paper found that there are efforts to standardize and improve health care through implementation of certain health policies. Based on the findings, the paper recommended that more power be given to international organization related to health policy and law development. Health policy and laws also requires investment in terms of manpower and therefore governments are urged to focus resources towards training professionals on matters revolving around health laws.
