This paper shows that Budweiser was introduced in 1876, and has grown to become one of the highest selling beers in the United State. Furthermore, the beer is produced in various breweries that are located around the world. Furthermore, Budweiser is going through a fast growing competitive market as the American average consumer is changing his drinking habits for alcoholic beverages which are looked at as being more refined. Because of the high costs associated with the fabrication of equipment, Budweiser’s competition has been reduced down to three most important competitors. The competitors in question are Millers, Coors and imported bees which are also known as Heineken and Corona. The presence of an efficient distribution network has greatly helped, but the marketing people have made Budweiser into a brand fairy tale (Keillor, 2009, 34).
The consumers of Budweiser are young consumers; this is to be take place through the use of musicians like Jay-Z. Basically, concerts have been organized with the intention of promoting the beer through the young generation. Use of musicians is a strategy will definitely enable the brand to sell adequately to its young consumers.
