Organizational learning involves the creation of knowledge from the experience it gains over time, retains the knowledge and transfers it within the organization to improve its performance. Organizational learning presents a competitive advantage by enhancing the understanding of the organization’s environment and improving the decision making process (Yang, 2007). Organizational learning enables firms operating in dynamic environments to respond quickly and more appropriately to unforeseen circumstances (Garvin, et al, 2008). Besides, organizational learning enhances the ability of the organizational members to develop new perspectives making such organizations to easily adapt to unforeseen changes and complexities in their business environments (Cheng, Niu & Niu, 2014). Organizational learning involves interactions between individuals in the organization, their entities and other organizations (Wang & Ahmed, 2003). Several organizational learning approaches have been developed that match with organizational learning theories.
