Executive Summary
The performance of any business operating in a given industry depends on the corporate strategy employed by such an organization. Most of the values determined by such an approach often aim at producing some benefits. The principal activities of the division would aim at ensuring that the organization demonstrates the best performance and earns a good reputation. The expansion of this company is necessary because it provides the avenues for extended production capacities. The main responsibilities of this branch include the provision of international express mail and freight services offered by Deutsche Post DHL. Any enterprise has higher chances of global recognition if they have enough branches across the world. For this reason, the formation of this new division is intended to create better opportunities to access the global market. The principal mission for this branch is to provide the best airline services and ensure that the consumers obtain the best quality.
These activities include the use of Deutsche Post DHL’s financial advantages to increase both the loyalty and trust of the customers. The investors’ desires would be considered in a more professional manner. In fact, the strategy used to deal with the differences in the interests of these people would ensure that fairness prevails. This way, it would be relatively easy to make everyone loyal to the organization. In this case, the primary mission is to establish a highly influential business.
In fact, such a change is necessary because the intended ambitions are only possible through remarkable growth. The financial achievements can help to strengthen the company by reducing its production costs. In order to achieve all these goals, it important to consider hiring more innovative employees. Such personnel have ideas and attitudes that are relevant to the organizational objectives. However, there is the general assumption that establishing a team with such qualities would automatically bring the desired changes. Nevertheless, such hypotheses are risky because of the uncertainties associated with them.
Marketing Strategy
The best way to ensure that the company’s products are popular enough would be to intensify the consumer education and promotion. The first step in dealing with the customers involves developing a clearer understanding of the variations in their needs. To achieve this objective, the business will subdivide its market into different categories deal with each of the portions in accordance with their requirements. Thus, the marketing mix would be designed depending on the nature of the market (Osterwalder, Pigneur & Clark, 2010).
The products offered are mainly the transportation and supplementary services. Such services would also include the relevant logistics. The availability of the services to the consumers is a primary target for the branch because conducting business operations is impossible if the customers are unable to access the products offered. Price discrimination will be inevitable considering the differences among the destinations for passengers and parcels.
The final element is the idea of promotion. The business is at its early stage of development and would have to implement numerous advertisements in order to popularize itself. The close association with the Deutsche Post DHL would be an additional advantage to the popularity of the company.
Information Technology
No organization would be able to survive in this competitive industry without a well-established information system. Of course, the branch already possesses the basic configurations meant for the primary communication requirements within the business. Apart from these arrangements, the division intends to make even better use of this option to ascertain that it gains a positive reputation in the market.
The first area in which the application of the concept would be necessary is passenger and cargo booking. The customers are used to the manual ways of making inquiries and requesting for the shipments of their products (Osterwalder, Pigneur & Clark, 2010). This subsidiary intends to ensure that the process is made purely electronic.
The other challenge that is common in the market is the idea of revenue management in the airline business. The decision involving the acceptance or rejection of the bookings as well as the pricing process would be automatic. This way, it will be possible to create the conditions favorable for profit maximization and customer satisfaction.
Plan Evaluation
The implementation is a very instrumental phase because it facilitates the production of better results. In order to ensure that the strategy is worthwhile and capable of rewarding the organization with the desired outcomes, a thorough evaluation is necessary (Kaplan, 2012). The effectiveness of the plan will be quantified using variables such as the average revenues earned, the size of the market converted within a given time and goals realized within a specified period. Positive findings in these areas will be the indicator of the efficiency of the methodology employed in accomplishing the business objectives. However, a close ...
