Sustainable tourism significantly aims at minimization of the negative outcome from the tourism activities while increasing the positive result of the sector. As a result, it is a concept that has received attention from different industry stakeholders due to its enormous advantages. Canada takes the top position in sustainable tourism by maintaining the beauty of its country through the conservation of natural resources and limited interference with local communities. The study conducts a literature review on sustainable tourism development in Canada by conducting PESTLE and SWOT analysis. The study concludes that sustainable tourism offers various benefits to all the stakeholders involved despite being impacted by different factors leading to opportunities, strengths, threats and weaknesses.
INTRODUCTION
Sustainable tourism (ST) exists as one of the growing aspects of the tourism industry globally based on its significances it offers to various countries such as Canada.
