The report is commissioned to check on the various efforts that have been done by the government of India to help cope with these chronic heart diseases. The report identifies that people aged 20-25years are at a high risk of getting cardiovascular disease. Key issues that have been a challenge are identified with the help of the Ministry of Health. The disease has rapidly increased according to a report conducted in 2005 by the Indian health department. It estimates that more men than women have been diagnosed with the disease. This year alone, Data from the health ministry shows one million cases have been reported in public hospital and these raise the alarm.
Chronic Heart Disease In India
Chronic heart disease is also known as cardiovascular disease has in the last two decades increased by 60%.in India CITATION Bow15 \l 1033 (Bowry, Lewey, Dugani, & Choudhry, 2015). Ministry of Health in India estimates that 23% percent of the Indian population dies out of this disease. The disease is caused by a number of the condition in the human heart such as high level of cholesterol, diabetes high blood pressure and narrow arteries. High level of cholesterol builds up in the walss of the artery making them narrow’s narrowness in the arteries reducing the flow of blood to the heart. This makes the heart receive less oxygen making the blood deoxygenated and the may lead to a heart attack.Mild symptoms of heart attack include chest pain which gradually spreads in the upper part of the chest including the neck and the jaws and further to the shoulders. The human body requires cholesterol in small amounts as it helps in production of hoarmoses,food digest and production of vitamin D. Symptoms include wheezing, nausea, chest pains, irregular heartbeat, ascites and a decrease in concentration. People aged 20 to 50 years have a high risk of being affected by cardiovascular disease due to their lifestyle such as irregular exercises and lack of healthy diet. Patients with cardiovascular disease are advised not to use aspirin as a a painkiller because it may increase risk of bleeding as it is thinner than the blood CITATION Lan15 \l 1033 (Lane & Wood, 2015). Cardiovascular is a killer disease to both children and adults.Foods with cholesterol should not be given to children so a to avoid this disease ata a later age. Adults need to counsume cholesterol free foods and improve their diet.
