Causes of World War
World War II was the biggest and deadliest war in history. Also known as Second World War, it involved virtually every part of the world in the years 1939-1945.The principal belligerents were the Axis Powers – Germany, Italy and Japan against the Allies – France, Great Britain, the Unites States, The Soviet Union and to a lesser extent, China. The two main causes of World War II were the invasion of Poland by Germany and the declaration of War on Germany by Britain and France as a response to the Nazi invasion.
