These gases include methane, nitrous oxides, fluorinated, and carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide (CO2) These gases are produced when carbon-containing substances, basically fossil fuels such as oil, natural gases, coal, biological materials, trees, and chemical reactions from industries such as the cement industry (Tuckett, 2019). These gases account for 79% of naturally found in the atmosphere, and their percentage is controlled and maintained by biological activities (Ritchie et al., 2019). Human activities such as clearing the environment alter the accumulation of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, where its collection leads to heat absorption, further leading to global warming. Methane (CH4) It is emitted during the mining and transportation of fossil fuels such as oil, coal, and natural gases, from agricultural and livestock activities, and during the decay of organic wastes, which accounts for 11% of greenhouse gases (Meinshausen et al., 2020). Raising livestock and leakages from pipes has increased the percentage of its content in the atmosphere (Manabe, 2019). It has higher efficiency in trapping heat, and its content can be minimized by proper control and management of its source as it is human-caused. Nitrous Oxide (N2O) This gas is produced from agricultural and industrial activities, wastewater treatment, and fuels and solid waste burning. They have an efficiency of about 12 years of sustainability in the atmosphere. It accounts for 7% accumulation and has had high lifetime sustainability in the atmosphere for almost 114 years (Webb et al., 2019). N2O proliferation can be controlled by adjusting human activities because it is the primary source. Fluoride gasses These include sulfur hexafluoride, hydrofluorocarbons, chlorofluorocarbons, nitrogen trifluoride, and perfluorocarbons. It is produced from household events, industrial procedures and applications, and commercial actions. They can stay in the atmosphere for a range of thousand to ten thousand (Shen et al., 2020).
