Growth is determined by factors which influence the inflow of economic resources. Some countries are better in attracting economic resources which support growth. Others have better and innovative capabilities to utilize resources that produce economic goods. Although growth is influenced by the availability and utilization of economic resources, Lee (2016) notes that the stability of a country also affects its attractiveness to investors. Also, in the modern world, the ability of a country to utilize knowledge and the global community is important for creating and sustaining growth. In America, Chile is the country with the biggest potential for growth and development. Favorable market forces and the focus on the knowledge economy have influenced the high ranking of Chile as the American country with the biggest growth potential.
