Masculinity is at times referred to manhood. However, manhood is a set of behaviors and attributions that are highly associated with men and boys. In the modern world, the masculinity has highly affected the behavior of many male individuals. The aim of this discussion is to examine how masculinity has affected the behaviors of men health wise. Masculinity has had some impact on health outcomes, especially on men. A lot of good things are happening in the US healthcare department and this is seen in the way many people are able to access healthcare services. The US is almost achieving a full package of universal healthcare. However, despite all these achievements in healthcare sector gender behaviors are some of the factors that are influencing health outcomes in various ways, masculinity being one of them.
