Leadership
Leadership is the ability to provide direction over matters which may require decision-making. Guidance is also viewed as a social influence that an individual offers to the subject, including some aid (Antonakis & Day 2018). This paper elaborates different leadership views by citing some of the best experiences in life of some past leaders.
Governance can be seen as a political position if it involves leading a group of people. Throughout human civilization, elements of Leadership are highly regarded to offer peaceful co-existence of the people. Therefore, sociologists can classify Leadership from different perspectives, such as spiritual, political, or economic Leadership (Northouse, 2019. The distinct characteristic of leaders is that they stood high profile in the society and made important decisions on behalf of their people (Western, 2019). Some leadership positions were hereditary, while others were elective and politically influenced. The election may take the form of a democratic process in which selections are carried through the ballot system. Therefore, different Leadership forms began in the ancient world and continues to influence current governance’s in a given society (Western, 2019). Nevertheless, Leadership is a pivotal part of the community since man is a political, spiritual, and economic being, and always be governed.
