The Impacts of Climate Change and Variability on Food Security in Africa (Research Paper Sample)

Instructions:

In this study, qualitative methods played a significant role. By not interfering with the subject's actions, researchers can use this scientific method to observe and document them. Psychology, one of the social sciences, uses this method to gain a general understanding of the subject matter, as do many other scientific disciplines.Through this investigation, several fascinating puzzles could be solved. For a study, facts and data are gathered by the researcher. This study relied heavily on primary data to complete its research. Because primary data is the most accurate and error-free, it is sought after by scientists. It's also the most reliable. Most people's thoughts and feelings can be accurately gathered using this approach. We can only learn more about the impact of climate change on Africa's food security if we have data like this on our side. There were open-ended and closed-ended questions on a structured questionnaire for this research. The questions asked for specific qualitative and quantitative answers.

Abstract
The African rains provide food and money. The environment affects agriculture. Climate change affects aquatic and insect populations' ability to eat and maintain their health (such as weeds, insects, or disease). Crop yields are affected by water and nutrients (disease-causing pests). According to UN officials, Africa's biggest problem is a lack of clean water. In times of fear, hunger and malnutrition worsen. Lack of food causes malnutrition and starvation. Climate change and drought made Africa's famine worse. Droughts have killed over 1 million Africans since the 1970s. Who? (WHO) 50% of Sub-Saharan Africa is malnourished, says the UN. In the next century, 10–20% of the world's population may go hungry. Shiva (2016) asserts that Africa will starve in 2030 if more food security measures are not put in plcae. A healthy diet is more important than ever with climate change. Both climate change and the African famine are urgent. African food and climate policy were studied. Dry weather and rising temperatures have worsened food shortages in Africa. Humans aren't the cause of global warming. Climate change increases food insecurity in Africa. Policy matters. Farmers' hard work is undervalued in Kenya. Due to trade, Africa's food supply has increased. Nutrition The production of food accounts for 10%-13% of global CO2 emissions, which has an impact on both climate change and the biodiversity of the planet. Natural disasters and global warming are directly linked. Climate change is having a negative impact on Africa's agriculture.
Introduction
Adaptation is taking place as a result of climate change. Climate change occurs on many scales, from the global to the regional to the neighbourhood level. Global warming poses a threat to human life, the International Fund for Animal Welfare says. The continent of Africa is feeling the effects of climate change. Impacts on food supply and the labour force have been pronounced. According to Shiva (2016), conflict and poverty in Africa are made worse by the impact of climate change. Heatwaves and floods cost money. Many Africans are afflicted. The upkeep of a community suffers due to the effects of climate change. Climate change adaptation is hampered by low income. 2 Africa's agriculture suffers from global warming. A person's ability to adapt to climate change can be assessed. Change or go out of business. Survived were those who were the strongest. If nothing is done about climate change, the poor in Africa will suffer. Climate change exists. Global warming affects whether (carbon dioxide, methane, nitrogen oxide, and hydrofluorocarbons). Humans emit 63% of atmospheric carbon dioxide. Africa’s’ rainfall affects its water, pastures, and crops. Half the world's population is poor. Climate change affects food availability, preparation, and storage. Climate change will reduce food in Africa to agriculture will improve.
Research Problem Statement
Human activity causes climate change. Climate change is caused by overusing fossil fuels, deforestation,
