Introduction
Signs and symptoms for menatls disorders may include mood disorders, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and impulse control disorders.
One of the causes of mental health disorders is environmental factors, which are the implications caused by covid-19. Due to a mental health disorder, a person cannot explore his full potential. People with psychological disorders have a higher risk of decreased quality of life, difficulties in education, lowered productivity and poverty, vulnerability to abuse, social problems, and other health problems. In this research, I wanted to know how Mental health issues can be addressed during this time of COVID-19 pandemic because Mental health has always not been accorded the attention it deserves, especially on how it affects the physical performance of an individual and the methods of reaching individuals who may need support on this issue.
My Goal:
Address the issue of mental health prevalence and access to mental care.
To improve the results for families and individuals with mental health requirements.
Background
Over the years, the focus has always been on infectious diseases and life-threatening diseases like HIV and Malaria overlooking mental health as a public issue. Mental health affects an individual's physical and social well-being, well-being, quality of life, and economic productivity. A comprehensive definition of mental health should not only stop at the presence or absence of a diagnosable mental disorder.
