The business world is so much competitive, where the case is not made any better by the rapid changes in continuous challenges that keep affecting the economic and social systems. However, there are many companies that have a stable condition in the competitive business world. These companies use the available facilities properly, utilize new sources for production of goods and have introduced desirable and suitable services that have made them be pure, flexible and customer oriented. These companies have employed important tools such as technology and used philosophies such as lean manufacturing to establish a stable and efficient system to protect their strongholds and improve the weak points. These methods have enabled them to keep identifying their planning ability and use corrective actions to recover important areas, which has resulted in improving their efficiency.
Technologies have provided companies with immense attention as they provide an essential tool for recovering, which is the main focus of many firms. Technology aims at recognizing tools, systems, crafts, techniques, and the organization methods to create an artistic perspective or solve a problem. To achieve these goals, firms should use interactions to identify what causes the relationship between lean manufacturing and technology. The main problem of a firm usually originates from poor identification of the cause. It also originates from the effect structure between lean manufacturing and technology. To solve this issue, an organization can use a systematic approach. Systematic approach assumes that every organizational area and aspect are closely related to each other, which means that it would be hard for one to recover one area without him or her affecting other areas. It is also good to note that effects loops and special cause are also successful methods that can use to determine how the system behaves. Global competitors have challenged many manufacturing companies continuously, which have made the companies find new ways of manufacturing.

Lean manufacturing is the recurring theme used in the human history, which aims at increasing efficiency, and using empirical methods to decrease waste rather than accepting any preexisting idea without evaluating them critically. The author of the article also defines lean manufacturing as a larger narrative chapter, including ideas such as motion and time study, folk wisdom of threat, efficiency movement, Taylorism and Fordism.
