Abstract
During the 18th century, Europe explanation idea shaped the thoughts of populaces. In that era, French art the Rococo art method influenced architecture, painting, and sculpture. A picture as most of the people say is worth a thousand word. The majority of the artists internationally use painting to pass on information. In addition pictures are also used to symbolize important things in society. Use of the art style influences things like stressing emotions, degrees of life as well as the surroundings. The history of art is believed to date back into the ancient times were stone pebbles were used to draw and the style is still growing globally. This paper aims at outlining art and society and how it was used during the Rococo era.
In style and in the subject, Rococo art mirrored the following changes in society. According to Michael levey in Rococo, to Revolution, the two major reasons why Watteau was important were. First, he expanded the idea of a distinctive artist, not reliant on any other person to shape his character. Second, he builds up the drawing genre for fete gal ante the depiction of Italian comics. Watteau’s pictures centers on a sole psychological instant, and normally focus on musicians, theater or lovers. None of his topics were connected to serious subject matter or religion.
