Redlining in the United States of America
Redlining can be described as a process whereby banks, real estate lenders and other organizations refuse to provide mortgages or even offer housing loans for worse rates to customers within specific neighborhoods depending on their race as well as ethnic construction. Redlining is considered to be one of the most comprehensive exemplars of institutionalized racism within the history of the United States of America (Squires, 2011. Pp. 69).
