Executive Summary
The given report talks about Tesla and its organizational culture. The impact of the same is depicted vividly. Changes in work culture across countries such as India and South Africa have led to massive challenges faced by Tesla. However, Tesla formulated various strategies to enter the market but was unable to do it due to government policies. It was observed that the policies formulated by the government of India and South Africa were not benefiting the company thereby, resulting in a failure to the diversification of the company.
The dynamic market in any country brings complexity for any organization to adapt. These also result in changes in the taste and preference of the consumers. Since India is one of the developing countries, entities have to showcase a massive shift in the trend toward more environmentally friendly products. The automobiles in Tesla were made as per the growing shifts in trend but the main reason for the failure of the company lies in the taxation rate or the duties which the company has to bear. Introduction
Culture is one of the key elements which make a company innovative. It, in general, describes the work strategy and characteristics of the company which as a consequence helps the company in retaining top talents within its workplace. Furthermore, culture connotes the competitive position of the entity as well as how much the employees are satisfied with the entity. In light of the above discussion, the company chosen to perform the analysis is "Tesla, Inc" because this company is focused on manufacturing products that are environment-friendly as well as which meets the taste and preference of the customers. In Tesla, the work culture lays emphasis on boosting the confidence of the employees by delegating tasks which will require them to think more creatively and which as a consequence would contribute to enhancing the overall growth of the company. The research performed will showcase how the work culture of Tesla is completely different from that of the work culture of India and South Africa. Moreover, it will also critically discuss the strategies which Tesla has implemented to enter the markets of India and South Africa but gradually failed. The theoretical framework for this analysis will be limited to the importance of work culture and how it significantly contributes to the growth and survival of an organization. Moreover, for this research work, the scope of the term work culture is restricted to the work culture of Tesla, India and South Africa. The reason behind choosing these countries for the analysis is that since the work culture of these two countries is completely different from that of Tesla, Inc, the company was unable to expand its business in these nations.
