Student’s Name Professor’s Name Course Date My favorite political figure Every great leader is likely to make a great nation. Running a whole nation is a great challenge indeed. Every citizen and indeed the government have objectives. Harmonizing these objectives so that they are collectively supported by the two parties require good leadership skills. The development of any nation is at the heart of leadership. The leadership must, therefore, enact appropriate legislation that will support their objectives. This essay will look into Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States (US). Lincoln assumed office just shortly before the outbreak of the civil war, his mandate very clear on uniting America and ensuring that there was equality for all people living in the United States.
