Wedding Toast
It was a garden wedding which would later be a garden party. The lash green color of the lawn complimented the yellow ribbons on each chair perfectly. It was evident that allot of thought was put into the preparations, from the different color coordination, to the floral arrangement right down to the outdoor alter. The isle was lined with a blood red carpet with golden ribbons at each edge. The wedding ceremony was flawless without any unexpected interruptions and soon after we proceeded to the garden party. At the party, after a few drinks and everyone getting to know each other, it was time for the best man's speech. That was my cue.
Hello, everyone, I'm Ted, Melvin’s best man. Thank you for attending this beautiful occasion and we are happy and truly blessed you could attend. I first met Melvin in college. He was my roommate. He was a laid back type of person, always with a big smile on his face and nothing in this world seemed to bother him. I would like to believe that that is one of the qualities that attracted Ann. to Melvin, because it definitely wasn’t his cooking.
