Punishments always can shame or destroy the defendants not supporting the severity connected to criminal punishment as defendants never lose their rights to freedom and liberty. State and federal objective of punishment include the penalty and the outcomes for the offenses committed by the offenders. The punishments ensure that the offenders are corrected for the particular crimes they have committed in the society. They also provide the criminals with good social interaction ideologies to enable them to be successful in their projects in the community. It assists in the installation of discipline in criminals through deterrence.
