Introduction
Demand refers to the quantity of a product that customers are able and willing to buy at various prices over a specific period. Besides, the supply of a commodity is the amount of that product that economic agents, financial asset providers, laborers, producers or firms are able and willing to avail to the market. Energy drinks are beverages meant to raise the mental alertness and physical enactments for users by adding caffeine and other additives namely Guarana, sugars, creatine, herbal supplements, taurine, and even vitamins. They comprise of monster, Red Bull, Rockstar among others. The paper examines the causes of demand and supply of these products in the United States and how these changes affect the price of the energy drinks, the anticipated future changes and the driving factors of the future changes in demand and supply of the mentioned commodities.
