Project management planning (PMP) is an intermittent schedule designed to rehabilitate multifarious activities and personnel to achieve the required goal within the estimated time limit. The integral parts of the project are awarded priority according to their contribution to finishing the project. PMP design is laid on the foundation of research data collection and analysis of the data through qualitative means. Due diligence ensures that all the components are protracted and regulated effectively. Therefore, a precise arrangement of activity in the PMP is essential for the effective utilization of resources as well as time management. The project manager has to design the PMP to address the needs of other stakeholders' communication, procurement, and quality.
Communication
Communication is the passage of a message from one person to another without distorting the message intended or original meaning. Poor communication wastes time and resources due to poor output and utility. Activities are constantly refined as it is poorly executed on the first attempt. Instruction, therefore, that involves the design and quantity of products have to be adequately communicated to the people in charge. The client or the consumer has to be included in the PMP planning through adequate communication. The communication must address communication within the firm's different sectors, like human resources and finance. The communication channels, whether top-down or down-up, must be efficient in relaying the information of concern (Project Management Institute, 2017). Communication with the stakeholders must be designed to increase the efficiency of the processes.
The close project date and the date of usability of the end product have to be well outlined in the PMP and conveyed to the clients. The PMP's concise definition of the end date and when the training of the users begins allows the consumer and the client to prepare adequately. The PMP has to fall under the expected delivery time as late delivery inconveniences the introduction to the market. Timely releases of the product are done in the research to increase the competitiveness of the product in the market as well as allow good pricing policies. Schedules created bequeathed to each participant with their dusty, which prevents an overlap in the jurisdiction of activities (Mossala & Arafa, p310). Scheduling also prevents the replication of activities which saves resources. The PMP is designed and created in a simplistic but comprehensive manner, as it has many users.
A work breakdown structure is a Project management and communication tool that portrays a polymorphous step-by-step approach to dealing with expansive moving parts of a project. The breakdown makes it easy to identify each peace role and how to move from one completed part to the next with little friction during the turnover. WBS creates an overall view of the project at a glance (Burghate, Mukul p455). The WBS compresses information in a graphical form allowing all the stakeholders to get a concise but comprehensive outline in a glimpse. The WBS shows activities according to the levels and the order in which they occur. All deliverables are outlined, including the external internet and the interim deliverables. Communication quality requires constant training programs to be implemented to assist the team members in learning how to communicate issues effectively.
