Perseverance, Continuity, Unbrokenness, and Evolution of the Chinese People
China is one of the oldest civilizations globally; moreover, known for its populous nature, it is the world's largest population totaling around one billion people. The country enjoys rich culture, art, straightforward political leaders, developed science, and advanced philosophies based on this population. In other words, the country dates back three thousand years back, and as a result, the diversity and development of the government can't go unnoticed. Having thrived from a small economy to today's economic hub, China's evolution has become more attractive. Thus, in this essay, we will discuss the features of the transition, Unbrokenness, perseverance, and continuity of the Chinese people in the course of history.
First, the characteristic features of the Chinese that make them stand out are continuity and perseverance. China has been a crucial part of the world's economy for decades and has surpassed Europe and Britain. In this case, the continuity of China is seen in the productivity of products that the country has today, the critical inventions they come up with, and the role they play in international politics (Wu, 2017). On the other hand, China's perseverance has been characterized by sorrow and adverse loss, and after the victory of the Communist Party, the country was struck by famine that led to the death of thousands of Chinese. However, the country was able to rebuild itself. Besides, part of the reason that makes the nation and the people of china thrive is their continuity in human creativity, innovation, and the urge to solve major human problems through science. For instance, as seen in NASA, most of the scientists in the institution are from China, and their contributions have helped immensely from putting satellites in space and discovering life in mars. Furthermore, the perseverance and continuity of the Chinese can also be seen in their decisions based on their strength as a nation, unity, and prosperity in their role in imperialism and domestic power instead of many countries (Wu, 2017). Moreover, the continuity is also reflected in their solidarity with loyalty and cohesion. They emphasize discipline to fulfill their social roles, societal roles, and state role, making them extraordinary when it comes to economic success.
On the other hand, the other characteristic feature is Unbrokenness; this explains how the Peoples Republic of China has managed to maintain whole and united. Moreover, Unbrokenness also helps us understand the identity of the Chinese people. Unbrokenness can be explained through the essence of dominance and strength that the Chinese have since been associated with (Xiaotong). In other words, China defines itself as an unbroken civilization and sells itself to the rest of the world. In this case, the Chinese are considered unified, and they see themselves as inheritors of unified political fronts like the Communist Party. Nonetheless, the Chinese are also seen as unbroken due to their identity consumed by being ruled by non-Han people. In this case, I believe that the characteristic feature that makes the Chinese people unbroken is the belief in their identity and the confidence in a stable leadership, from the reign of dynasties to a stable government today.
The evolution of China and its people is characterized by the leadership which was under the Dynasties. Nevertheless, the country is cherished and is recognized with a record of being one of the world's oldest civilizations. However, as much as the country shifted and changed the leadership, they maintained their culture and brought innovation to the world (Magagnin, 345). For instance, it was out of their evolution that the printing of money began; moreover, a permanent army military was introduced. There was also the idea of a government formation. In other words, the Evolution of the Chinese was characterized majorly by stability in the form of organized dynasty structures and innovation in all sectors of the country, political and economic.
