Introduction
A recent survey suggested that having a furry friend makes your kids do academic wonders. 79 percent out of a thousand kids with pets agree that the pet's influence on both their homework and their work in school is good, as per a home poll. Past studies have shown that pets significantly enhance the emotional and physical health of their caregivers/owners. So it's not too much of a stretch to assume how they can help kids feel more optimistic about their academic performance (Daly & Morton, 2006).
Enhancing Intelligence
The presence of pets can help in raising the level of intelligence of kids. Raising and watching out for a pet promotes commitment in childhood. Kids with pets have better impulse control, coping skills, and self-esteem. Bearing the love and caring for the pet forges an extra shared bond between the siblings. Cuddling your pet decreases tension, isolation, and distress. Educators have understood for a long time that taking therapy animals (mainly dogs) to campus helps children with behavioral challenges. Now researchers have confirmed that all kids will benefit from the inclusion of a non-judgmental buddy with paws and fur.
