INTRINSIC MOTIVATION
Intrinsic motivation is performing one's assigned job with inherent satisfaction and enjoyment while overcoming set challenges to perform better. (Ryan and Deci 54). An intrinsically motivated employee will go for the enthusiasm and challenges involved, but not the external benefits. In this case, the reward he gets is the opportunity to learn, grow, establish themselves and use their potential fully. Undoubtedly, this is indeed a more vibrant and in-depth concept of motivation compared to extrinsic motivation.
