A flea is one of the most dangerous insects that can affect human beings and cold blooded animals in many ways. A flea normally reproduces and multiplies its numbers in hot and humid environments. The pupae stage of a flea can stay dormant throughout the very cold winters and become active in summer. This can only happen if the pupae itself stay free from disturbances. Flea extermination and removal is a very important activity that will help you and your pet stay away from the fleas. The fleas can harm your pets and you.
Once a Flea has matured into an adult, it will start to feed on blood of warm blooded animals such as Dog, Cat Cow and other animals. There are several signs of Flea attack. It includes;
* The pet may experience a lot of scratching on their bodies continuously.
* Skin of the attacked animal becomes very dry.
* The pet will also experienced some discomfort inside their ears.
* There will be stains of dried blood on the skin surface.
The first step of Flea removal process is to ensure the home is sanitized well. The house should be cleaned thoroughly and dusting done before Flea extermination. This should be done in all areas at home. The place where pets stay, the floor, the walls, and the furniture inside. This will help in destroying the pupae of fleas. A vacuum cleaner can be used to do the dusting.
The next activity will be to apply an insecticide to the whole house to exterminate Fleas. This will destroy all the stages of Fleas. Remember to consult a Veterinary officer before doing this.
