In contrary, employees who look at themselves as the pace setters are in most cases likely to go against the rules, feeling less responsible for their mistakes being the reason.
Accepting to have stolen unnoticeable goods is another psychological reason outlined by Kaptein. In any workplace, there is a dozen of temptations to cheat. Such things as toilet papers and stationary are carried along with employees to their homes. Most of these small thefts end up being ignored.
