Abstract
A book review requires a critical analysis on the significant aspects of the book rather than retelling. It focuses mainly on the book's authority, content, and purpose. A proper book review contains neither summary nor report. It is a direct response on the key strengths and weaknesses of any piece writing. It includes statements of what the author has done or tried, includes an opinion of the reviewer on how the author has brought out the theme of his work by presenting strong arguments to substantiate such evaluation.
The Time Machine Book Review
The Time Machine, published in 1895 is a fiction book written by H.G Wells. Wells is also known for the popularization of time travel idea that involved using a vehicle allowing an operator to move from one place to another purposefully and luxuriously. The Clock That Went Backward by Edward Page Mitchell book which was published in the year 1881 is the book that inspired Wells. Its idea involved using a clock to allow people to travel backwards in time.(Mitchell,1981,p.50-63).The idea of a time machine was coined from the term "time machine" by Wells, which is today used to refer to such vehicle. Wells work is a replica of early Dying Earth subgenre.
The novel idea has been translated into two films going by the same name, two television series, and a considerable number of comic book versions, indirectly impacting more fiction works all over the world.(Mikejay, 2011, p.34) Wells conceived the idea of time travel long ago as evident in the earlier writing, The Chronic Argonauts, short story book that was published in the college's newspaper.
Both structure and writer styles are identical 1800s works. The book begins with a narrator telling of this strange person they meet. The strange person dramatically takes over and goes on to narrate about an event that happened to him. From the novel, the second narrator is the Time Traveler. The Time Traveler book eloquently expounds philosophically everything that happened. The story telling method is quite pleasant since it leaves a space for the time traveler to use his philosophical thought. Although the events might be exciting, the transition is quite slow such that one has no time to guess on what might happen. The storytelling technique works pretty well; it was pretty change of pace from fast-paced novels. The dystopia is enjoyable. 
Wells does not get hung up in politics; the whole storybook revolves entirely around evolution encompassing critical thinking and analysis skills.  The Morlock/Eloi disunited due to intergenerational conflicts between the future Eloi (haves) and the future Morlocks (have nots). The Eloi exhibited childlike behavior.  The haves are a good example of what happens people do not want to take responsibility and leave others to do everything for them, a thing that they (haves) passionately embrace.
