Life as a Young Chinese
Most people of the world view China in different perspectives. One would say that China is a country with a large population with its natives in most parts of the world. They also believe that though china is one country, its people have distinctions in terms of religion, native language and even different ideologies. China is also known to be a world’s developed nation in terms of economy. When understanding what being a Chinese means, it is necessary to understand the traditional perspective and the modern way in terms of state of life and the way the youth are required to live.
There are very many changes that have taken place in china over the past few years. The Chinese have been requiring to get civilized in modern ways and to help in improvement in the society. In recent years, the men have not taken more time in terms of education. They have reverted to unnecessary things like bragging and showing off in groups. This has therefore made women to take an extra hand in surpassing man in many things like jobs and levels of education. For one to be a citizen, he/she must fight for the nation against bad things like attacks by other nations. There has also been a notable change in the marriage sector. In the past, one would only date a single individual and there were people who could join families with the same social stature so that young people from these families would get married to each other and create a lasting bond. This has since changed drastically as a result of the improvement of the economy. People nowadays find it hard to find a spouse that some of them find refuge in online dating sites. Furthermore, there has been a major rise in people moving to towns from their local areas. This has further brought a difficulty in marriage since they cannot find the best people. Women have also resolved to further learning and development of careers making them call off their marriages. Therefore, many have joined expensive matchmaking whereby those who are rich send representatives who entice many people to be selected by their bosses. This mainly happen with the rich; both men and women. The government of china has allowed more freedoms in matters of 3econommy but has still remained dictatorial. The citizens have no right of choosing the leaders of their choices and activists are usually given harsh punishment. The government controls everything including what is learnt in school.
The society views both the male and the female in different perspectives. In the past, the male used to work harder than women and they were given more priorities while the female was less cared for. This has since changed as the male are nowadays considered to have negative image in the society. The female have been given more chances and have taken that advantage to take off the male in matters of jobs and education. The male in their teens and early twenties take much if their time doing unnecessary things in the society. The female in the society have most things like their own cars and can pay their own bills today. This has made the male to work hard to earn these ladies unlike in the past where one would just pick a lady. Males are described as those who should have the physical abilities and be athletes. The males used to break their virginities earlier in the past unlike in the new days where they get troubled in terms of virginity than most virgin ladies.
Being a youth means getting ready for adulthood and final stage of life where an individual can no longer afford to do childish things. In doing this, one should be able to receive proper education, acquire the necessary career development skills and also gain knowledge on their sexual lives. Furthermore, one should be allowed to take part in making important decisions as this prepares them for the adult staffs. They should also be able to get the best healthcare programs and facilities. After getting these, a youth should be prepared to act in adult ways. This means having a wide range of development in terms of competence, relationships, knowledge of desired goals and interpersonal relationships. They are people who should be physically active and plan for their marital and family lives. They should participate in the society in terms of development and choosing of...
