Speed of light.
It is not possible to move at a speed that is slightly similar to that of light. However, from an observer who is outside the spaceship you will have aged less within your travel than time has passed. When you travel to the speed of light or even much faster you will never overtake the light. Having said that, it is also true that taking the distance that you have covered and dividing it with the time taken, you might get a figure that is more than the speed of light; this because of time dilation. This begs the question, how comes you can not overtake the light; the person in the spaceship will see the beam of the light normally (Trefil & Hazen, 2004).
The speed of light is always absolute regardless of the speed you are travelling at. Travelling at the speed of light or even higher light will always move the same relative speed as you. Therefore, when you are travelling at 99.9% the speed of light and you turn on the headlights they will shine normally in reference to you, in the spaceship. However, to an outsider the light will always appear to be blue in color (Trefil & Hazen, 2004).
This answer seems to be against the laws of physics and therefore one need to adjust them to let this happen.
