THIS TASK WAS A POSTER PRESENTATION. THE POSTER WAS BASED ON A CASE STUDY. THE CASE STUDY WAS ABOUT MR. Y, WHO HAD FALLEN SICK AND VISITED THE HOSPITAL. THE GENERAL PRACTIONER CONDUCTED VARIOUS RESULTS ON HIM TO PINPOINT THE EXACT HEALTH PROBLEM OF MR. Y. THE POSTER WAS SUPPOSED TO DISCUSS HAEMATOLOGY, CLINICAL BIOCHEMISTRY, MICROBIOLOGY, AND CELLULAR PATHOLOGY IN REFERENCE TO THE GIVEN CASE AND THE RESULTS OBTAINED IN THE LAB. EACH SECTION DISCUSSES THE RESULTS OBTAINED AND PROVIDES AN EXPLANATION OF WHY THOSE RESULTS WERE OBTAINED. LASTLY, THE POSTER HAD TO IDENTIFY A POSSIBLE DISEASE THAT MR. Y IS SUFFERING FROM BASED ON ALL THE TESTS CONDUCTED ON HIM IN THE LAB.
Case Study: Mr. Y
Introduction: This case study is about Mr. Y who lives an active life which includes cycling to work and regular 30 minutes exercise daily. In the past year, Mr. Y started experiencing shortness of breath and noticed that he started coughing sputum with a green tint. When he visited a general practitioner, his BMI was 18.7 and he had reduced weight from 76 to 72 kg in 6 months. His blood pressure was elevated to 144/88 mmHg and temperature was 37.9°C.

Cell pathology is concerned with studying body organs and tissues to determine the cause of the disease and the effects on the body. Cell pathology gives clinicians a definitive diagnosis and allows them to choose the most appropriate treatment.
Haematology
Haematological tests are performed to evaluate erythrocytes,
leukocytes, and platelets [1]. Some haematological tests include RBC count, haemoglobin concentration, and mean corpuscular volume [1]. Haematological tests are used to screen for various disease states [2].
