Shared Economy
The following are the primary characteristics of an economic model based on sharing: Access rather than ownership: Rather than purchasing an asset outright, the seeker chooses to rent it from another party. A platform brings together owners and seekers and makes all the operations between them more efficient. The sharing economy presents several difficulties, not only to the current legal framework but also to many of the existing actors in the markets being affected. The most significant obstacle will be providing a level playing field for new competitors and those who have already established themselves in the industry. However, this is not workable because the principle in question does not apply to all products and services.
