From the case study, it is clear that Disney is experiencing various challenges impacting its performance in the marketplace. Proper interventions need to be implemented to address the difficulties encountered by Disney and promote its competitiveness. If I am the new CEO at Disney, I can embrace a growth strategy. The growth strategy involves expanding the entertainment products and services that Disney offers into the market. I consider growth the most appropriate strategy because of the changing times and business environment. The changing business environment requires firms to grow and produce more products that suit the customers' changing needs. Some of Disney's products, such as Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse, are too old and suffer from brand fatigue (Case Study). As the CEO, adopting a growth strategy will help develop new and creative films and movies, minimizing the brand fatigue experienced at Disney. I can implement the growth strategy at Disney by acquiring like-minded businesses such as Pixar. The strategic acquisition of such companies is appropriate because it will help diversify the entertainment products and services offered to people in the target market.
