Case Study; A New Joe on The Block
Joe Brown needs to make some key decisions for him to start a successful coffee business. First, he needs to decide on the coffee pick of Americans. In the case study, Joe realizes that Starbucks, McDonald's, Burger King and Dunkin' Donuts are the most selling brands of coffee (Babin, & Zikmund, 2015).  However, he realizes that factors such as price and taste play a major role in customer choices and preferences. By establishing the American pick of coffee, joe will be in a better position to improve on the taste and the price of his brand such that it satisfies the consumer. Also, Joe has to decide on what sort of place is first-rate for a coffee shop. Identification of a strategic place such as next to a Starbucks store plays a significant role in the establishment of a successful coffee business. It is worth noting that Joe is about to start a new coffee shop that customers are not aware of. Therefore, establishing next to a popular store would highly promote the new business because customers would be urged to try it out.
