Brand product matrix is a tool that graphically represents all the brands and products sold by a firm. Rows and columns are the main representation in a brand matrix in that the goods that are offered under different brands are represented by the columns, emphasizing on brand product relationship while the current existing brands are represented in rows, with an aim of showing the product brand relationship. The representation helps marketers to vividly analyze the current brands and can therefore easily explore other opportunities of expanding the product range and also develop new marketing strategies (Keller, Parameswaran, Jacob, 2011).
