The target customers for the business were the millennials. The business tried to appeal to the population through changes including locations redesigning, kitchens were overhauled and the menus were altered to a different look (Mashed, 2018). In 2015, Huffpost stated that the Applebee would be branded the “Millinnials Bar” (Mashed, 2018). In addition, the business also added contemporary options, for instance, sweet potato fries. Although meeting the necessities of this specific group of individuals was not an easy task, Applebee’s tried to adjust their culture, activities, and marketing strategies.
