Hiring and recruitment in the business is the process of outsourcing human labor or optimizing the use of the available human labor through promotions (DeVaro, 2016). The writer will explore the hiring and recruitment process for the customer service manager at Amazon. The writer will explore the issues surrounding such recruitment including the social, ethical, professional, and legal regulations. The paper will explore the process of recruitment and its relevance to the organization. Issues about Recruitment of a Customer Services Manager
The recruitment of the customer service manager in the organization will be done in consideration of the employment and labor laws at the international level and at the country of origin of Amazon. In addition, the employment design will consider the employment laws of the country of origin and operations of the successful candidate. One of the legal issues to be considered is the minimum wage for the employee depending on the scope of the job and the industrial sector. The recruitment of the manager will be required to be a free, open, and fair process without any form of bias, favor, or discrimination (Van & Becker, 2016).
Recruitment Plan for the Manager
Recruitment can be described as the process of outsourcing human labor for the business. The requirement of the labor could be due to the expansion of the business or due to the termination of the former laborers. Recruitment is critical for the business because it provides the organization with the required human labor that matches the needs of the business. In addition, recruitment can be used as a competitive tool to lead the market by attracting, hiring, and retaining the best labor in the market. To fill the selected position, the business may solicit applications for the vacancy from the outside through advertising. The organization may advertise internally the open positions for the workers to apply. In addition, the business may employ referral and direct recruitment where the organization identifies a preferred candidate and offers him a proposition (Advice to Search Committees and Job Seekers on Entry-Level Faculty Recruitment and Hiring, 2009).
Recruitment Plan
Staffing can be described as the outsourcing and in sourcing relevant human labor for the organization. The design is critical in ensuring the production and optimizing performance of the business through expansion, development, and growth. The assessment for the appropriate candidate will include the academic qualifications, work experience, and other job related competencies such as demonstrated leadership behavior, skills, and character. The qualifications will be employed since they indicate the qualities and skills required by the scope of the job. The interviewing process that will be used will include preliminary shortlisting by the resumes followed by physical or online interview. The interview questions to be asked will be:
