The physician should not allow Mike to make irrational decisions. Mike was placing James at a high risk when they opted for going for the faith path. Before going the faith way, they came to the hospital to seek for services that would help James to recover. This alone was an act of faith. They never needed to go to a church for their faith to work. Jesus’ teachings were that, once a person believed, he was healed. This was the same faith that they went with to the physician. God gives different people different skills and talents so that they can support each other. He allowed one to be a physician because he would treat people on his behalf. Believing that a physician can heal someone is faith that God will work through such a physician to accomplish God’s work. Therefore, when James was taken to the physician, it was through faith that he would be healed. The physician is doing the work of God and should not allow Mike to continue making irrational decisions which maybe he would not make if he was the one in such a situation. The bible says faith without action is death. They needed
