Stakeholders can refer to an organization, group or an individual who is directly or indirectly affected by a decision or a result of a project. They may include project managers, users or customers, sponsors, and executives. However, they may be classified into external and internal depending on their area of operation in the project, i.e. from within the project or engaging from outside the project. They have different roles that they play in order to ensure that they attain the success of a project as discussed below:
The project managers are the leaders of the project. Their work involves controlling the management process, defining the scope of the project to all the involved parties and assigning the roles each party should play (Savage et.al., 2015). They also come up with a working plan on which the process of implementation will follow from the start to the end. They are the ones that everyone looks up to for further directions because of their leadership position.
