Living a stressful life can create sleep issues in a person causing a heightened state of attentiveness. The right amount of stress can make us energetic and help us do our tasks daily, but too much stress places a burden that can make a person stressed and sleep-deprived. The client has trouble sleeping at night, so we will provide the following recommendations to our clients to improve their sleep issues.
First, we will improve the quantity and quality of sleep. An adult's healthy amount of sleep is at least 7-8 hours (Suni, 2022). Always reach the bed at the same time every day. Adjust your sleep a little every day by increasing sleep duration from 1to 2 hours. Being consistent with one's sleep routine can help one reinforce one's body's sleep-wake cycle (Corwyn, R. (2006).
Thirty minutes before going to bed, do a Pre-bed routine that includes taking a Luke warm bath, reading a book and listening to calm music with low lights can help you achieve peace of mind.
