A Student’s Success depends on the Teacher
While in school, a student’s success is measured through good grades. These do not happen by chance since students must study hard in order to pass their exams. Without the help of teachers, no students can make it on their own. This paper looks at how teachers take responsibility for making students succeed or fail.
The society expects parents to ensure that they make their children attain excellent grades throughout school. However, this burden rests on teachers because they are the ones with the teaching skills needed to impart knowledge to students. Parents can only teach their children good or bad morals. Even though they can motivate children to put more effort in school, their influence does not have an academic basis.
On the other hand, teachers spend more time with students than parents. A good number of teachers also have children of their own. Hence, they also double up as parents. Teachers have a better chance to mold learners under their care. Teacher training institutions instill useful skills on educationists. Teachers use these skills to help learners grasp important aspects of education that will not only help them get good grades but also secure well paying jobs in future.
