The research philosophy applicable to the proposed study is positivism. Wahyuni (2012) indicates that the positivist philosophical position provides for the interpretation of observable phenomena using credible facts or data. The selected research philosophy is suitable for ensuring the collection and analysis of reliable survey data on study variables, which include organizational culture, innovation, and creativity pertaining to architecture firms in Dubai. Saunders, Lewis, and Thornhill (2012) assert that the tenets of positivism allow researchers to assume the roles of natural scientists in establishing causal associations between study variables based on data on discernible realities. Positivist philosophical position enables scholars to assume an objective stance in the processes of gathering and examining collected evidence. It differs from pragmatism, which permits the use of subjective meanings or interpretations as acceptable evidence Wahyuni (2012). Therefore, the use of positivism is vital for mitigating subjective interpretation of the findings that would emanate from the proposed investigation.
